He is Beer Correspondent for BBC Good Food Live and contributor to the Sky Pub Channel. Other Publications include The Weekend Telegraph, What’s Brewing, Morning Advertiser, Brewers Guardian, Pub Business, The Guardian, The Independent, and American Brewer.
He has specialist knowledge of the image of beer, beer and food, developing beer menus, and the structure of the brewing and pub industry. He has been a judge at many beer competitions and is currently chairman of the Tesco Drinks Awards Beer panel. He is Chairman of the British Guild of Beer Writers. Widely traveled, he has visited many countries to experience different beer cultures and traditions.
The book covers 800 breweries and has detailed tasting notes and photographs of over 2,000 beers. It is an up to date guide to every good beer in the world.
