Still the most popular oregano, Greek oregano is the basis for many Italian/Mediterranean dishes. Whole oregano is dried on the branch. We hand-pack our herbs to eliminate the parts of the plant you don’t want, but be aware there may be a small twig or two that missed our eagle eyes! Whole oregano leaves offer a longer lasting, robust flavor. Leave whole, crush in your hand or use a mortar and pestle to get the consistency you need.
