Broiled Asparagus with
Balsamic Vinegar
Ingredients
1 large bunch asparagus
1 T Canola oil
1 large shallot, minced
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
1 t Balsamic Vinegar
Method
1. Turn broiler on high
2. Snap ends of asparagus.
3. Place asparagus on a sheet pan and toss with oil.
4. Sprinkle shallots over the top.
5. Place under broiler, turning occasionally until browned (10-12 minutes)
6. Remove from oven, transfer to a platter and drizzle with Balsamic vinegar
Note: Also works great with green beans.
Serves 4
