JOB OPENING: COOKING CLASS COORDINATOR

With an inventory of more than 14,000 items in stock, the store has a reputation for personalized service delivered by a well-trained and knowledgeable staff. The Cooking School and Event Center offers a comprehensive curriculum of recreational cooking classes, as well as hosting private corporate events. Since 1989, Kitchen Window has remodeled and expanded five times to continue to meet and exceed the expectations of its loyal customers. The store and cooking school will achieve a new milestone next year, with a much-anticipated move to a brand new, substantially larger, state-of-the-art facility.
What We Are Looking For:
Kitchen Window is currently seeking a Class Coordinator to assist in the management and operations of the Cooking Schools recreational culinary program. This is an amazing opportunity for the right individual who wants to be part of the fast-paced culinary scene in the Twin Cities. We pride ourselves on offering the best culinary experience in the Twin Cities and are looking for someone who will strive to exceed our standard of excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative background, volunteer experience, be detail-oriented and have an interest in food trends and cooking. They must also be willing to conform to a non-traditional work schedule.
General Responsibilities:
To assist in the management and operations of the Cooking Schools recreational culinary program and assist with private events and facility usage.
To assist in the development of creative, innovative and exciting class curriculum to meet varying customers interests.
Be the primary coordinator of class curriculum, managing the day-to-day operations of the published class schedule plans, class evaluations, volunteer coordination and class sales.
Portray a positive image of Kitchen Window and the Cooking School as a resource for culinary information and food preparation equipment.

Requirements:
College degree in business, communications or other related field
1-2 years administration experience, preferably of service based business
1-2 years management experience
Volunteer experience
Ability to work non-traditional hours
